About Certified Irrigation Designs'
"In 1989, after having served in a sales management position with a major corporation, I made a career move. I accepted a position as an area representative for an irrigation distributor. At that time irrigation in my region was in its infancy. I soon found that in order for potential users to recognize the need for efficient irrigation, education was of utmost importance. From that time forward I have not stopped educating myself as well as others on irrigation and the environment. The Irrigation Association, located in Fairfax, Virginia, USA an international organization for landscape and agricultural irrigation has grown to be the most notable source for continuing education and awareness in an ever changing world. I am proud to be associated with this organization over the years. It is through this fine organization, as well as environmentally responsible manufacturers that I have received support through education.
Technology today is ever changing. So too are the products used in irrigation design. It is the responsibility of the irrigation designer to use the latest technology to achieve the goal of providing and controlling the efficient application of water.
Irrigation designs should be engineered to meet the client’s needs and yet always preserve that most natural of our resources, water. Because, every precious drop counts."
